Ride in Myles Standish...with PICS!

Saturday was a beautiful day.....perfect for riding! Ruth (Minouri), Terri, Erin, and I went for a 3-4 hour ride on our adorable Pasos.....we got to meet Scooter (he's even prettier, uh, I mean "handsomer" in real life)! Oh, and we went to a pond....*I'd like to officially thank the girls for not thinking I was a complete weirdo as I stripped down to my bathing suit to get a "1st swim" in on my Paso* :roll: .....I couldn't resist!! ;-)
I had a great time....thanks girls! ;-)

Poco did pretty well for his first time swimming...he'll be a pro in no time. Especially if he hangs with Scooter more :D

I have to say....I've been to many places to hike/ride in a couple different states........you just can't beat Myles Standish, imo...

Erin did...she was the photographer for the day. Good thing, cuz I forgot my camera. You definetely need to go swimming!! I can't think of a more exciting/bonding thing to do with your horse :D

Hey, I object to my poor Mikka being called a rental!!
Mikka is a 1/2 paso (and gaits 1/2 the time) and a tad on the homely side. She is at my place on a free lease for the kids to ride. If there is a better kids horse out there, I haven't met it. But a tad on the boring side for the rest of us. But Incendio had a cut on his frog and Erin had to let him heal up a bit, so loyal, faithful, dependable Mikka came to the rescue.

And Abbey any time you want to ride Rio, just hop on.

We did have a blast.

Wow...looks like a lot of fun and a great way to cool off! Reminds me of when I was in 4-H and we used to swim our horses in a pond we rode near.

I don't blame ya'll for taking those saddles off! All the swims in the world aren't worth a nice saddle! LOL
