They are both gray. Or will be gray.

Baruc is a buckskin turning gray and Poderoso is a black going gray. I think I saw Poderoso just a few hours after he was born at Arleen & Jim Klungle's. Beautiful colt!

Well it is about time you showed up and have deemed yourself as one of us crazies. LOL  Glad to see ya here and since today is the 3rd day have you taken a spin on I hope the new and improved boy????
And I got a call from Nancy F. today so I assume the boy is no longer being offered for sale. He sounds like a good match for her daughter. I know I know what you have said about him but beleive me he is a great horse.

Oh and forgive me if this is not Baruc he looks so different in this pic that I am not possitive it is him. His mane and tail are now blacker and coat is so much darker gray.

Hey Heidi!!! I did buy Poderoso (Speedy). He is probably the best money I have EVER spent! I cannot tell you how many smiles that guy has brought to my face! I bought Poderoso from a VERY good friend of mine Arleen Klungle. She has a gelding named Roja that will always be my first paso love! Before she gelded him he had one baby and I knew the minute I saw him I had to have him. Poderoso will be about 15 hands. He is beautiful and quick too! Baruc is coming around too. He is about 14.2 and is a silver buckskin...I have been riding him more and taking him out on the trails...He has really been a great trail partner...How is Q?

Boyd: I was tired of stalking so I figured I say hellooo and join all the crazy's over here! That is Baruc...He looks so docile there! HA  Nancy called and said she was looking for her 14 year old daughter...I didn't thing Baruc would suit so I sent her to you...Hope you don't mind. I have a lady that REALLY wants to see him on Saturday so I don't know...I'm having conflicting emotions about it now but plan on riding him when I get home so we'll see. I'll keep you posted...Man this website is addicting now! Whew!

As good of a boy as he was for me and you when we rode and with the amount of discomfort if not out right pain he has been in. I tell you he is a gem for anyone to ride. when he is feeling better which he should now he won't be the same horse I gaurantee you that. He didnt want to be touched so imagine what he was feeling and wanting when saddled up and ridden. If he wasnt a wonderful horse he woulda put your teeth out as soon as he seen the saddle coming at him. He is one outstanding gutsy guy you have there.

How old is Speedy? Isn't he about a year younger than Q? If so, that would make him about 2. How gray is he NOW, btw?
Heidi

ps, Q is in training about 7-8 miles from my house and doing great! When my health improves a bit, I may be able to RIDE her for a short bit. :D

Hey Dave...I'm in Covington. We'll have to get Boyd to set up a ride for all of us...We had a good time a few weekends ago at Tribble Mill...I'm always up for it as long as I can bum a ride!

Heidi: Speedy turned 2 in May. He is still changing colors and the sun has bleached him out a lot but you can tell he'll be a grey when he fades...You know that I am partial to the gray's! I am in love with TrueStep's paso...He is a beauty! I have been doing Parelli with him and he has taken to it great...We are side passing and jumping barrels as well as having mastered the 7 games...That's about all we can do till we start riding. I'll keep you posted...Way to go with Q! I know you are a proud mama!
