We got confirmation today that we are in the Largo Race

We emailed it in. By the way - stalls are comped only if you are just in the largo race according to the email we got. If you are in a pointed class you have to pay for your stall but entering the largo race is free. I thought Carolyn was entering???

I have it in writing from the show secretary "the stall is comped if you are only in the largo race" but who knows??? It does make sense though to require stall payment if you are in the show for points.

OK, it should mean that the stall will be comped only if the horse is entered and competes in the largo race. It is not keeping horses that are in pointed classes from getting their stalls comped.

That was one I asked them about repeatedly and got the same answer on from all people. This is their way of preventing people from entering the largo race for a free stall but then not competing in the actual event.

I hope that they are not changing their minds, but I will tell you that the show secretary knew as much as I did about the Largo race when I called her.

I don't think so Mel. This is copied from the email. I didn't state it quite right I don't think.

"Your stalls have already been requested when you entered the class, and,
yes, they are comp if you enter only the Largo Race. "

that implies to me that if you enter any other classes they aren't comped.

Why not email CJ. He answered my email fairly quickly.

I was told :roll: that if a horse entered the largo race _and_ participated in the race, that the stall would be free - even if the horse was in regular classes... Have they already started changing their tune?
