Dixie Update

Some of you may remember a NC Spotted Saddle Horse who tail was set on fire by teenage girls in NC's Harnett county last summer. It was a horrifying story that got worse as it became apparent that there was not enough evidence to charge the little $%^&* who commited the crime. Here is a story on our local station today that shows how these people and their filly have dealt with and are continuing to deal with Dixie's mutilation.

Its hard for me to believe that they couldn't get enough evidence on those kids to prosecute.... ?? Seems like I remember that they were bragging about doing it.....??? I didn't re-read the whole account, but I did read it a year ago.

I am glad to hear that Dixie survived and is doing well.

I don't remember the specifics, but I seem to remember there were witnesses who heard them bragging but were unwilling to testify.

I just can't believe those brats never got into any trouble. I'm sure they're bragging about that too.
