If Marci is actually 85 days, she would be due the beginning of May.....I need to get the exact breeding dates, then I can go forward from there.

So - the vet said the embryo is in the left follicle....any gueses on if this is going to be a filly or colt????

First of all congratulations on the news! We just had a mare checked in foal and the vet said the embryo was on the right side and would therefore be a colt. So I begin to ask him a few statistical questions about this piece of news, and he begins to laugh. He says for future rechecks he likes to know which side the embryo is on, so he tells the client its going to be a colt if the pregnancy is on the right, and will tell the client it's a filly if it is on the left. He says most people won't remember right or left, but will remember if he told them it was a colt or filly! Pretty clever, huh?! Michele
