I live in Okanogan, WA on 10 acres with my horses, dogs, cats & reptiles (I breed them). :) LOL Oh and my fiance, LOL

Washington? Boy we don't have many folks from out there here. I wish I was closer....I'd be taking you up on that test ride. 8-) But I am gonna keep you in mind for the future when I have potential test riders out that way.

Kenny and I lived in Goldendale WA for two years...that's down on the Columbia River Gorge. High desert area...not very pretty IMO unless it snowed and covered it all up.

I'm new into Peruvians. I bought an one, an older mare, because my friends have them and rave about them. At first I didn't really like her. She was distant and remote on the ground and to hyper under saddle. Her gait was very nice though. As I have ridden her more. she is much better on the ground. Not exactly "in your face" friendly but she now seems to enjoy handling. In the saddle, she is still go-go-go but not so hyped up. I can get her to walk some. She gets so worked up when I try to hold her in that she bounces. This may just be her or Peruvians, I'm not sure. I welcome any Peruvian advice I can get. You seem to be just opposite me. I have 7 Paso Finos and the one Peruvian. So why did you get your Paso Fino?
