Went camping at the West Fork camping area on the West Fork of the Chattooga river. We had a nice relaxing time. I wish we had remembered the fishing poles! There were some nice trout in that river.

And we did not hear any banjos while we were out there. WHEW!

Home sweet home!

This is what I look like when I am relaxing - scary, huh?

The water was very nice and refreshing. There were some deep spots, I went swimming but Kevin refused to get deeper than mid thigh. I wonder why?

I had to go hunting for the perfect souvenier rock. I have quite a collection from all of the places I have visited.

The "swimming hole" part of the river.

I help install these steps! Good to see that they are still holding up.

The lovely "chemical flush" toilet. Mmmmm, minty fresh.

nah we're hijacking Mels thread to turn it into another obscure movie reference thread like the Cowboy ed/ Princess Bride one..lets see how many people can add to it..I have more visual references than quotes for this one though..so it will be hard.. ;-)

This was a very carefully planned completely non-horsey camping trip. :D ;-)
