Since Grace is a retired game warden, the commission sends us weekly reports to use in the paper. This incident about a "GAME WARDEN DETECTOR" was a bit amusing. :D

On Monday, August 14, one day before the opening of alligator season, officers watched as a vehicle was repeatedly driven up and down County Road 833. The officers eventually stopped the vehicle and discovered two males and one female in possession of a freshly killed alligator. The female stated she knew the officers had to be in the area as her “game warden detector” had been going off. Their curiosity peaked, the officers asked to see the detector and the woman pointed out what simply appeared to be a radar detector on the dash of the vehicle. She said that while dropping off the two male subjects so they could hunt, they told her if that box made any sound it was indicating officers were in the area. Citations were issued for the violation.

They didn't indicate her hair color so not sure if she was one of those you know whats. :D
