Lysine? Horse Herpes?

Anybody know anything about these? An equine chiropractor told one of my boarders that all horses carry a form of herpes in their muscles and lysine can help it. Hope I got that right! Anyway...opinions? Facts? Knowledge?

Yes, I had heard something to that effect but only one time awhile back...and that's about all I'd heard....

My cats both have herpes virus (the kitten brought it home to the 4 year old from SPCA) - they take L-Lysene so it makes sense.

I buy the paste from Revival Pet - it's way cheaper.
