Newbie from Ocala, FL

Hello Everyone! I am new to this forum.

I live in Ocala, Fl and I have 3 paso finos and 14 thoroughbreds. I compete in all the sub-jr. youth classes.

I will be at Nationals and I hope to meet some of you there.

Is this Miss Jessica Varney???? If so...you are being a bit modest. She is a very accomplished rider and high point youth in many areas over the past few years. 8-) I'm sure you will do excellent at Nats!
What classes and horses are you showing?

Hi Miss Lori! Yes, it's me. I finally got brave enough to join the forum. I am riding at Nationals in the following classes with the following horses:

Equitation Sub-Jr- & Horsemanship Sub-Jr- India de Calidad
Fino Sub-Jr- Serenata de Amadeus
Performance Sub-Jr. Capitan de Besilu
Pleasure Sub-Jr- Juegeton de Fantasy

O.K.O.K. I confess I like just being at Nationals. There is so much excitement in the air. The challenge of the competition, all the great vendors, beautiful horses and meeting new friends, which is what I hope to do by meeting some of you there. :lol:

Hello Everyone! Here are 3 pictures of my horses.

Miss Lori to answer your question my very first Nationals was 2004 and I won 3rd in Fino and 5th in Equitation.
2005 Nationals I got 1st in Horsemanship and 2nd in Equitation and I won 9 hi-point awards and a new saddle
2006 I hope to do well this year and I guess PFHA called my mom and told her I have 9 hi point awards again. I'm riding 2 other horses this year as well as my own mares. I am very excited and I wish everyone lots of good luck at Nationals.

In regard to the thoroughbreds I don't ride them, they are all racehorses and they go WAY TOOOOOO FAST for me. My mom used to ride them all but we have exercise riders now.

Sorry about the pictures, I'm still trying to figure out how to do them right.
I'll get it next time, hopefully.

Got it! Now DONT delete that picture where ever you have it hosted or it will go away. ;-)

When you are sizing your pix before uploading them...make them about 6x8 and see how they come out after you post them.

Most ppl can't master the avatar size ones but post HUGE pix the first time. :lol:
