Alienta de Fresca Aire

2005 registered Paso Fino filly, currently nearly 14.1 hands, will be tall! Extremely cute head, good legs, hard hooves. Picks up all four feet, wears a fly mask & fly sheet, easy keeper, bathes, worked on clipping once. Decent ground manners, she's a real busy-body, needs some more work with being caught & learning to stand tied, but she is just a baby! She also loads & hauls very well. VERY, VERY smart! Should have good largo speed. She needs a GOOD, forever home, ONLY. Trades on reg. (of equal value) Peruvian fillies or mares, ages weanling to 10, must be sound/sane. I'm located in N.Central WA state but will consider trades from anywhere....as long as I can afford it! =)

Thanks!

Forgot to add her bloodlines!
http://dreamhorse.com/show_horse.php?form_horse_id=884762 You can see her pedigree here.

I'm hoping she's worth at least $3000 =) ??

She is "worth" ...what the traffic will bare.... It all depends on what someone is willing to trade for.

The market is shot here... good, trained geldings going for $1500-$4000.
Good bloodlines & size....

You need to find someone "like-minded" who wants to trade for her....

"worth" of a horse is a very subjective thing!

Luckily for me, in our area--Peruvians are selling for pretty high. I've seen weanlings going for as much as 10k & broke show horses for more than $50k (I'm in WA state).....

Thanks again!

Hi, I'm new here, also in Washington State (Western) and involved in both breeds. She looks like a nice filly. I saw her sire, nice, stocky horse and a pinto. And test rode her half brother, very smooth and calm.

While some may be asking those prices on PPs, I'd have to wonder if they are getting them! Even a lot of the PFs I know of on the market in 3-6500. range are slow in selling. And Peruvian market is worse as far as I know. I could have gotten another PP for much less than I paid for a my PF mare.

You might just want to hang tight and see if she'll sell- just a thought.
I'd be interested if my current situation allowed for growing out a youngster!

You know, I really like your filly...she looks like some of my stock. I would think you should be able to get at a minimum $3500 for her...it just all depends, like Terry said, where you are and what folks are paying there.
Good luck...wish I could have her!

Hi, there -

With regard to the possibility of trading for a Peruvian mare/filly, are there any particular bloodlines you are interested in more than others? Or, is it better to ask if there are any that are out of the question? ;-)

Sorry, been REALLY busy! I still have "Ali" and she's growing like a freakin' WEED! She's easily going to be 15 hands. She's starting to fill out more, too.

I've decided I'd much perfer cash on her, rather than trade for a Peruvian--unless the "perfect one" comes along--that being, TALL, DARK & minimal white. Inbreeding to a minimum, as well. With strong, old bloodlines. I perfer Buraldor, Antares, etc.

I have a tall, black *gorgeous* yearling filly (from Mary D) - by Biru out of her big gray mare, Sola Norte. She's good sized and a gaiting machine with those coveted Northern bloodlines. Let me know if you're interested - she's not officially for sale. but the right trade might interest me.
