If I had help I bet it could have been done months ago, but going solo means making sure its going to work the first time and it did. Pesquisa FINALLY got her first trim! She learned to tie like it was second nature, that made it easy, learned that I am not a filly eating lion when I pick up her rears in 2 sessions, and today I finally had the time and correct mood to do this. The payoff is a lovely filly totally untaumatized by this first trim, with only a hair of goosiness about one hind leg - the last one, grasshopper was a little impatient but honestly, I have had more trouble from well behaved old timers! Oh YES I am proud.
As to having her tied - I use an aussie tie ring and IF she wanted to freak out, she'd touch the back wall just before running out of rope, nice set-up. Not that Pequisa cares... ;-)
