This morning has been so peaceful with just the animals and myself here. When the sun came up I looked out my window and saw the prettiest palomino. Her color is begining to come in and she is cream colored now with the white mane and tail.I admired her through the window for a little bit feeling so lucky and reflecting back on all we went through(you all and I)when she was born and didn't have a very good chance at making it.She calls to me and comes to the gate every time I go out my door and makes me feel so good.I had not been able to really just sit back and look at her without doing something with her all week and could really see changes that took place durring the week in her growth and color.I worked hard enough at work that my boss gave me reccomendation for hire so I got on permanent at work, and that lady is one tough cookie, and that means alot of things but among them it means I can take care of my place, girls and the rest of the animals without having to depend on anyone but myself.I really can't tell you everything that means to me.I'll get pictures with the new cammera this weekend so you all can see how baby Rosalita is coming along.I'm so proud!Your friend,Moniece

I can't wait to see the new pictures. Palominos are my favorite shade or color. I sure hope to have a couple of babies this next year with just that shade or maybe cremello/perlino. Looking forward to the pictures.

What a nice thing to read this morning! You've been through so much. It's nice to just sit back and appreciate your life once in awhile. We get so caught up in the day-to-day.... thanks for bringing me back to what it's all about!

Thank you all for your happiness for me and your support!!It means more to me than I can tell you right now.I'm working hard on figuring out this cammera to get pictures for ya.It should be easy once I find this one button to get the date and time set.It looks to me like that has to be done before I can take pictures.I see the right and left cursers but I can't find a button with a right arrow/left arrow.I'm not good at these things but i'll get it figured out, eventually LOL.Your friend,Moniece

That was a beautiful post. I was just thinking similar thoughts---the farrier just left & I just finished giving my redheaded 6 month filly her first leading lesson with the help of her mother. She really did well--she is very level headed. I took my housedogs out to their little yard & they were enjoying the green grass, the shade & a cool breeze & I just sat down in the yard & reflected on what beautiful day it has been & thanked the Good Lord. Glad to know it has been good for someone else, too.
