View Full Version : HELP! I need to order...
some Dixie Pride and have packed the phone # for ordering as deep somewhere as I've packed the last little can of Dixie Pride. I'm soon getting some Buffalo and have to have my favorite seasoning with it.

If you haven't tried it yet, you don't know just how important it is ;-) I can't cook without it anymore... it's vital to my survival.

I'm a Mrs. Dash person, but am always open to anything that make our fallen four-legged friends further flavorful! :D

Glad you found the number. 8-) Crisis averted.
Poni, when I get back I'll try to remember to send you a sample if you will remind me and send me you address. ;-) It's actually good on more than fallen animals.
Just trust me on the Dixie Pride. I use it on ALL my meat, and most other stuff too. It just brings out the flavor so much better... then I use other seasoning and herbs to accentuate as well. I use a lot on my meat and it only brings out the flavor of the meat itself, but the juices get a sting from the Dixie Pride. When I use the juices to make a sauce (we don't do gravy the same way in Europe, so I usually make a wine, or other nice sauce, with the drippings and it's just the BEST.)

I'm looking for something to accentuate my "Magic Taters"- the kind where you cube them (skin on), oven-bake them until a little toasty, then put them "shake and bake" style with all these seasonings and butter, and then put them in tinfoil down in coals on the grill. Love 'em.

Poni...I think you will love it. We use it to make baked potatoes and they are so good....you don't even need sour cream.
We grease them w/olive oil, sprinkle them w/DP, roll them in foil and then bake. 8-) Delish.
If appyday wants some DP....all she has to do is ask. ;-)

I made a veg stew and used it to flavor and didn't use anything else. Jim could not get enough of it. He is more of a meat and patato kind of guy. You will love it if you haven't tried it before.
