The big Pig Roast and trail ride was this past Saturday... We all bring food to share and our host Albert Vega (Paso Finos de Vega) provides an entire roasted pig for the event....
This year...I made Paso Cookies....

I never could find a Paso Fino design cookie cutter....so some years back...I made this cookie dough "Press" of super sculpey modeling plastic...
My husband PROMISED me..he will help me weld together...or maybe solder together...a REAL cookie cutter for next time!!! Cookie presses are just really hard to work with!

Those are adorable!
A few years ago, my daughter had to bring a treat that started with 'K'. She wanted to bring my cream-cheese shaped cookies! Well, it took a lot of looking, but I finally found a 'kite' cookie cutter!
If only I was as creative as you, I wouldn't have had to search all over the planet!

Sorry Appy...not a one was left...and I don't even want to LOOK at that cookie press again for a while! That was a two day project...one day to bake and one day to decorate.... they are BIG ...only four fit on a cookie pan at a time....
THAT is why I shall design and get a CUTTER made.... it will be so much easier!

WHAT are you talking about? All the cookies I saw were palomino and buckskin! Well, the buckskins didn't have dark legs, but their manes/tails looked dark with a light, buttery, flaky body...yumm...I mean butter colored.

Ladies... do you realize what you are asking? I have no "production factory"!! They would have to be hand made... they would not be cheap to produce.... Are ya kidding? Where does one even get the right kind of metal banding to make such a thing? Or the molds to produce even a plastic cookie cutter?
I dunno........................................

But we're not thinking about production, Terry, we're thinking about eating cookies. Buckskins and palominos . . . yum!!

Hey...I'd pay good for a cookie cutter like that...what the heck...put them out one at a time and sign 'em...soon they'd be a collector's item... ;-) :D

I am with Pasovicki...we aren't thinking about how much trouble it would be...we just want Paso cookies and cookie cutters! I am with Carol too...I'd pay for a handmade Terry Wallace cookie cutter. I want to make some peanut butter dun Marisa cookies complete with little zebra stripes on her legs!
