It was AMAZING! Cant remember the last time I had so much fun..

It was at a ranch in WI, about 300 acres, 40riders, and only 150 head of cattle... Over kill for people but we have such a great time!

We started off having to cross a boggy creek, muddy muddy, it just rained the night before. Chico got over it fine, but just on the other side the saddle slid off to his side and I had to jump off to fix. Ok started off kinda bad...

Then as we headed down the pasture I look ahead, a STEEP STEEP hill, a mud slid really, we started up it! NEVER before have I been up such a slippery slope w/my horse, my little sis gluped big and said: Were not goin up that are we!?"" YEP we did, and we made it up! Never did they really loose their footing but it was a slip and slid hill..

They we split into 2 groups to find the cattle thru thick woods, on the top of the bluffs, it was spectacular w/the fall colors!!

Found the cattle and hearded them to a big holding pen, then more fun began!

Branding and castrating! WOW, never been so close to the action before, got some GREAT pics!

Here they are!!

Chico and I on the bluff, just look at those colors cant hardley see us!
