Is anyone having trouble getting this site to load on their computer? I noticed that every time I go to this site, doesn't matter which page, I keep getting a little exclamation point down by the task bar (on the left) that says 'done but with errors on the page'....I started watching that bar when I click onto this site....it starts off saying opening webpage www.americanpasofinos.com, then it keeps flicking to a different website 'dengesiz-team.org'.....what the heck is that, I say, so I type it into my address bar and this site appears and it looks like some HACKER website.... :-?
I have gone to different web addresses and it seems to be only on this one??? What the heck? Is my computer being 'hacked' or what???

I thought it was the spam blocker that was installed. But I had in uninstalled ealier and you guys are having new problems. Keep letting me know what you are getting and I will keep passing along this info to the hoster. But I don't know how long it will take to get it fixed. Sorry. :(

I've just had problems with the site not loading at all and having to do a couple of refreshes to get it to load. What browser do you use? I use firefox.

No problems with Firefox here.... I'm only on a couple times a day though. I've probably missed the problems.

PasoJoy

i don't get an error message, but when this website tries to 'open' and I watch it loading (I am looking at that bar right above the 'taskbar') and it will say 'opening page www.paso....etc.etc, then it flicks to 'opening page www.dengesiz-team.org
then the page seems to stop loading and that 'exclamation icon' appears and it says 'done but with errors on the page', and sometimes just says 'done' with the exclamation point icon...when it loads properly I will get the blue 'E' (internet explorer) icon in that corner...
that denge site is some kind of hacker webpage...

I just checked my Privacy Report, and these are the 2 sites that are trying to put cookie on the computer -

dengesiz-team

Now the other one is gone -maybe has to do with someones' avatar....

PasoJoy

I just switched my avatar pic from smugmug to photobucket...do you think it's that smugmug site doing it??? I am not too computer savvy...I can close out that account if that's the case...all my pics on this site are from there.. :-?

I use neither, and still get it. It's in the info bar at the bottom of your browser. Just appears for a second, then is gone.

I am having a different problem but it may be related - every time I switch pages on the forum I get a message that a Language Pack (Turkish) is needed to be installed. It may be a hacker with turkish code???? And my work system is trying to read?????

PasoJoy
10-03-2006, 06:36 PM
Well, I asked the people at smugmug about my pics and this is what they said:
"Thanks for writing. Nope, I know that must be an irritation, but it's not coming from your pics. You are simply linking to a single image that's on a site that has nothing to do with that hacker. There's no code you're sending that would be doing this.

I hope you all can do something about that hacker!
All the best,"
So  , i guess it's not that...

GregM

I get the "click to install Turkish Language Pack" today also.

I don't know about anyone else but today when I got on the BB everything was fine. However after a few minutes everyone's avatar disappeared  and little red (x's)came up where the avatars were.

I hit the refresh button and they came back then that message came up "Waiting for dengesiz.team.org along with downloading picture" So I checked it out and it is a hacker's website here is the addy

http://www.dengesiz-team.org/

Is anyone else having the same problems? And is there a way to get rid of the interference

Look like our pet hackers have been very busy defacing websites!

Check this out!

http://www.zone-h.org/component/option,com_attacks/Itemid,43/filter_defacer,Dengesiz%20Team

I have read where they have completely destroyed some websites. It seems that they target the more vulnerable ones.

I don't get any of the above described problems..BUT have lots of trouble on the classifieds... cannot update the ad once it is posted...get many script erros and the same warning page Echo describes in her Palomino horse for sale ad on the sales forum ...

this page ...
Thanks for the compliments! I cannot fix the price! I get:

Warning: Variable passed to each() is not an array or object in /home/amersco1/public_html/edit.php on line 33

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/amersco1/public_html/edit.php:33) in /home/amersco1/public_html/edit.php on line 63

I have gotten that msg before too Terry, but strangely...it always updates the ad no matter what error I got.

Also, I recently found out you cannot load pix in the classified if the name of the photo has a space or _ in the name. So the name needs to be like pic3 not pic_3, otherwise it shows red X's.

I am not having issues at home, but I do on my computer at work. I wonder if it is a difference in firewalls or if the hacker programming is only effective with certain functions?

But it seems that hackers have taken advantage of some sort of vulnerability on the server and "refaced" the site. I guess they call it a digital attack of sorts. If you do a search on the name of the site that people have been getting messages about, you can learn a lot. The link I posted shows that the hackers have screwed up thousands of sites already. Some conspiracy theorists are saying that this particular hacker group targets christian and american sites. Maybe the name of this site and the vulnerability is what made it a target?

What has been done to this site is ILLEGAL. People have been prosecuted if they have been caught. Maybe the host needs to do some investigation?

Just bumping this up...
Has anything been found out about fixing this? It is still coming up at the bottom of my screen and it loads a BUNCH of stuff. Slows down the site a lot.

OK, I just did a little checking too. It is a turkish site that is hacking many, many websites. Some of them have had their chatsites taken down until they can find a more secure one.
This is not good.

Well, I don't have any problems at all and no yellow bar at the bottom. Nothing else loads on my computer when I visit this site.

Could it be YOUR computer? I do use Google's Spam, Spy-ware, and pop-up blocker.

Linda Y
10-05-2006, 02:20 PM
I also use the google stuff, and it is catching and blocking the cookies from dengesiz, which I see is trying to open as I write this. It shows up on my privacy report as blocked cookies. If you do a search on Google of dengisiz-team, you can see many of the sites they have hacked and messed up. Plus some of the sites that have removed their chats rooms and forums. No, not my computer.

Same thing is still going on on my computer. I have tried everything to clean it out but nothing seems to work. you get that waiting for and downloading picture at the bottom of the screen. Boy I wish I could get my hands on the sob that did this. It really slows down the computer.

May have to remove everything and start all over. I know that you can go to (Run) on dell puters and go back to a date things were working fine and set it up.

Ok here is the explanation I got from our ISP that hosts 2 of our website domains.

Whoever put this thing on here has written software that will not show up as spyware, adware or a virus. They have written the software change and attached it to a particular posting and that is probably why some got it and some did not because not everyone probably did not read every post

Their suggestion was for me to reformat everything on my computer including the hard drive because somehow it not only comes up on this web site but others as well. So it may not be from this BB but was picked up on another website.

Anyhow still trying to figure how to get it corrected without buying another computer.

I still have a continuous message on the bottom of my browser that says data is being transferred from dengesiz-team(.org), but otherwise the site is running fine. Besides the pop-up blocker, my browser is set up to automatically reject cookies, so that could be why I'm not having any other problems. Our friends at denesiz could be continuously sending cookie requests, and my browser could be continuously rejecting them.

Mellifluous
10-05-2006, 06:32 PM
It is not your computer, it is this website. It is not attached to specific posts. You can redo your computer all you want, but the minute you come back to this site it will start again. This website has been defaced!

I am not having problems at home because my google toolbar is blocking the popups that are bothering most of you other folks. Some other people may have some form of popup blocker or other tool that is keeping them from having issues with the site.

The only way to stop this is to fix the website. Buying a new computer does not repair the damage that has been done to americanpasofinos.com

Cindy
10-05-2006, 06:34 PM
Vicky, you may be on to something. Mine rejects cookies as well. I have to approve any sites with cookies or something like that. The other day after a scan it showed me a bunch of cookies and asked what I wanted to do with them. I deleted all of them. Don't know where they were from though.

Cindy
10-05-2006, 06:38 PM
I don't know Mel. Mine blocks pop-ups too and tells me how many it has bocked. That number does not seem to be changing and I am not getting any pop-ups.

CarolU

I just checked my Privacy settings and my computer is automatically blocking the cookies you all are complaining about. For those of you having problems, you might go and change your privacy settings to where you have to approve all cookies. My privacy setting also has an anti-Phishing filter.

I also ran Spy-bot on my computer today (first time in months) and only found one escaped cookie. Spy-bot is free and also has a blocker.

Good luck!!!

Abejita
10-06-2006, 01:23 AM
Ok I am gonna stand corrected..BUt I will say it is sneaky because I have it on my block lists and when it first requested to send me a cookie I blocked/denied..I went to control panel and internet options and deleted cookies and deleted files..BUT
Everyone who is having this problem try this

control panel
Internet options
Temporary Internet Files -settings
view files

You most likely will find these Dengesiz cookies in that list ..My delete cookies /delete files is NOT deleting everything..so I manually did edit..select all...delete..came back here and it is no longer trying to load.

My spyware and Mcaffee (which I have really been having doubts about anyway as they NEVER find a spyware but my Earthlink spyware scan usually does..even if it is from a site like ask.com) found nothing...

Lori, I talked to John and had him check look at it (we've been hosting websites for 10 years, he's the techie). Anyway, they are basically just driving traffic to their site by hacking into your phpbb scripts for posting. It's not really malicious, they just want the traffic (they look like Russian, maybe)? You may not see it if you have a broadband connection. I'm on 128K here at home. At work, I have a T1, and really didn't notice any problems. Phpbb is notorious for getting hacked....

No danger to anyone's computers. Hopefully, your hosting company will help you. You might have them change FTP or bb admin passwords though.

Hope you're having a nice vacation!

When all this is cleared up, (password to Lori's FTP and PHP admin, viewpost and postreply scripts changed back) it should be fine. You can then remove those cookies. They don't appear to be malicious, just trying to get traffic to their site. Hopefully, Lori's provider will help with this...
