I just receieved this e-mail today and unfortunately I do not have what they are looking for. Actulaly I sold a horse that woud have been ideal the day before I got this e-mail. Maybe one of you can help these people out. If you have a horse that you can donate to help these people, please PM me or let me know. I would prefer to find a horse in the west that I could go pick up myself but let us know what you have maybe we can find some one to transpot the horse. (I am sorry that I will be away from my computer for the next few days, but I will get back to you as soon as I can)

Hello Rose Mary,
I got your website through *******
I am the head instructor for NOTRA (North Okanagan Therapeutic Riding Assn.) located in Vernon, B.C. We currently have one Paso Fino mare in our program that is absolutely irreplaceable, literally, right now. Her movement allows for the most disabled rider to enjoy what most of us take for granted. Unfortunately, our little mare is quite old and we are soon going to have to make a very hard decision about her. What's even more heartbreaking is telling the students who ride her that if we can't locate another one soon, they won't be able to ride. We have searched and searched for another suitable one and contacted your club and that is where I'm at now. We are seeking a Paso Fino that is not too tall, the smaller the better that someone may be looking for a good retirement home for. We are willing to pay a small fee but if we could have one donated that would be much appreciated as we are a non-profit organization. They don't have to be completely sound although that would be grand but as long as they can walk and gait nicely with a leader and side walkers that is all that would be asked of them.

We guarantee a great retirement home for them with their best interest at heart and all the love and attention that they can stand!

If you can help us out in any way we would be forever grateful and we do have transportation for picking a horse up.

I thank you and do hope to hear from you.

I sent her an email.....
Poor Sam has out grown our beloved Carlos and maybe this would be a perfect retirement home for him. :?:
