Other than this irresistable urge to post skin photos on this website (doesn't seem to affect me at other forums), I feel perfectly normal.

Thanks for your concern.

ROFL!!! I am glad you feel normal! You do seem to be drooling a bit though; maybe you are thinking of skin photos?

Yes, and today, I seem to have developed the ability to look at photos in two different places at once, without having to turn my head. Go figure!

I'm suppose to meet my dad for lunch at noon just near the command center are on hwy 64. So now on the news, folks are talking about what about pet animals left behind in yards and homes.

Horses and 2 dogs still had a good appetite this morning, but will be itching to get out soon. Being weaned colts and fillies are all in the barn.

We'll welcome the needed rain today. Truck is running with new water pump (homebound last 2 days), so ready to get out and need horse feed to pick up in greater Apex area, where I shop.

I think you may be far enough west of the site, that it should miss you, but I'd worry too with the babies, and some of the mature horses you have. They did say that the DENR didn't find anything alarming in the air quality tests they've taken....so hopefully, they're being honest about that. Ya just never know...I think Jim Warren needs to refocus his witch hunting target.

Good reminder that we all need to think about how we would evacuate our homes. I suppose that area does have evacuation plans for the power plant. Everyone needs an evacuation plan. Even if you live where there are no potential disasters; disaster could come to you.

My evacuation route for the power plant goes to north raleigh area to a shool there. I can't imagine trying to go that way...the traffic is worse enough. I'd want to head west not north through Raleigh. Probably trying to keep everyone contained in the same county.

Keep batteries, covered stored water and canned goods. They say that for hurricane seaon, but probably for also these type of man-made disasters. Sounds like something to do. And for everyone to close home air vents and turn off air/heat circulation systems.

can you imagine those folks who live right near where the explosion area? would you want to go back and live there...major decontamination. Hope their pets left behind are okay.
