It looks like Monday will be the day! (if no rain)

22 miles of horseback trails.
We are taking Q to Hard Labor Creek state park for a trail ride with two seasoned trail horses. Groomed trails, no bridges but we will have streams and creeks to cross. Pat will take her camera and I am contemplating taking mine...but I really only want to concentrate on me and Q, not picture taking, so I may leave mine behind.
Q and I have done very well at Pat's place. We have been riding together for the past three weeks and done well both riding in the round corral and in the 5 acre pasture; alone and with Pat on one of her horses. My biggest concerns with Q at the state park will be:
Other riders.
Water crossings.
Pat has assured me that we can switch horses if I ever feel uncomfortable about anything we encounter along the trail, but I think we will do fine. The water crossings may get me nervous until I see how she reacts. We will take our time. Pat says we can take as long as it takes and won't need to 'force' her to do anything quickly.
I think we will only ride for a few hours. Just enough to see that Q is doing well and is able to get comfortable.
Is there anything I can do for preparation?
