He/She is my new project. This is one of the younger members of a feral cat colony that I managed to trap this evening. I was very pleased with his/her behavior when I went to pick the trap up. Usually the feral kitties will flail all around and go bananas trying to escape. Tribble just sat there and looked at me. He/she also rode quietly in the jeep, just hung out calmly in the trap. When I got transferred Tribble out of the trap and into his/her new dog kennel home he cautiously yet calmly stepped inside with no issues. I am hoping that he/she will be fairly easy to tame.
I have had my eye on Tribble for a while. Hopefully with time and patience, I will have a wonderful new addition to my family. Tribble is set up in a nice big dog kennel for a few days and will be going to the vet on Wednesday.

Poor Tribble is going to have lots of people to deal with in the next few days! I plan to leave the TV on while I am at work so that there are always voices. Jackie will enjoy the company too. Kevin will also be popping in through the day to talk to Tribble.
I almost forgot! Some additional Tribble info for those of you who are not Trekkies http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tribble

Shred some cooked chicken and mix with a can of Cream of Chicken soup. It helps the chicken stick to your fingers for hand feeding. I've won over EVERY feral that came to me with this combo.
Tribble is beautiful, I don't have one in that color (Siamese)....or Calico...

This is one of that cat's kittens. I am hoping that he/she will test negative for FELV. Keep your fingers crossed!

I am hoping that it is maybe just because she is feral and hasn't had the greatest of time. She has the look of one that may have it. We had some at the barn that had it and they just stayed miserable looking. Feral and mean as he**. Not much you could do for them but let what happens happen.
Which looking closer at the picture, it maybe the pic too. Hard to tell. I will just have to see Tribble this weekend. :D

He/she looks angre, but my fingures are crossed. Good luck. I hope all test come out negitave. It still being a kitten you should not have any problems making him/her your new best friend.

I put my trap cage out and caught 3- 6 week old wild kittens. They are meaner then hornets. Put them in a small room in the house. Husband took care of them while i was gone and they got loose. Now they are hiding in the house somewhere. LOL I had a vet appt for them this afternoon. Quess i will have to cancle it. So far I think there hiding place is behind the washer and dryer.
YOur cat sure is pretty. DO the feral cats live in your barn?

Thanks for the compliment! Thankfully Tribble is not mean so far. I have rescued kittens for this group before and they were super defensive. Lots of growling, hissing and spitting. They did come around but it took awhile. Tribble has meowed a little but that is all. This kitty just seems to be frightened as anything, not agressive in the least. The feral population that I got Tribble from is at Nanny's where the horses are at. If they were on my property, they would be managed completely differently than what they have been. I have tried to intervene and get help for managing these kitties out many times in the past. No-one will listen to me or make an effort so I just do what I can for them.
I will be boiling some chicken tonight so I will try your trick Heidi! Oh, and thanks for the color ID Shelley, I had no clue what is was. I kept calling it the siamese looking cat.

I have better luck selling dogs. Sold 2 started (right at finished) bay dogs, one finished bay/catch dog for $1500 each yesterday and 5 pups at $300 each. All going home with the same person. WAY better luck dogs. :D
