Boyd's farm today to take a look at Miss Dinah. I was blown away with her disposition and gait. She was a dream to catch and tack, she stood perfectly still while mounting and she had the most willing attitude. My 10 yo (not confident rider) got up on her and rode her independently around the arena and loved every minute of the time. You can tell that with time she could even be brought along to show if someone wanted. She is truly the "whole" package kinda of horse. If I had the money and the place to put her I would have bought her on the spot!
Boyd, you have done an awesome job once again! Thanks so much for the time you spent with us this morning. I know my mother really appreciated it! :D
(Okay, I know some will ask, but I did not get any pictures. :( I think Boyd may have gotten some video, maybe you can get him to post!)

How hard it must be to find your 'dream horse' and not take her home!
Sounds like Boyd did a great job with her.

I am hoping that mother is the one who ends up taking her home! She has been wanting a paso since I got mine last year. Currently she is considering Dinah and a MFT. Both are great, I am just really partial to Dinah! :D

I have only done minimum with Dina. Hast gets all the training credit there. She had hip pain which Vicky quickly remedied and I done maybe two hours desenseitizing and some ground work but she was awsome allready.

I just love how she scoots along. she gaits like this in the pasture all the time it is so odd to watch. She is the first paso I have had that gaits at free will so much. She needs to get better conditioned to be more consistant under saddle. We have just taken it slow and let her enjoy her rides and not make them into work. She is so happy to do anything we ask that we whant to keep her that way.

That is so awesome!!!
Thanks Boys I appreciate your kind words, but I left holes in her training that you have filled in. I'm so happy... since I really like Miss Dina, she is such a sweet girl and deserves to FINALLY get a home where she is wanted and loved.
She has an awesome gait, doesnt' she? When I had her she just needed to be in better shape to be able to hold the gait in higher speeds too.

I am no expert by any means on gait and maybe those with more experience and seen more horses could chime in but she is so quick and tight. She may go Fino if properly collected, conditioned and taught. I don't think she has any faster foward speed than what is in the video. Even at dinner time the others come a runnin and Dina just comes tic a tacin along.
