Phoebe was wanting to go go go! The parade kept going slow slow slow. Pics like this make me think darn I need to ride better! She did well and kept a snappy little corto for a good portion of the parade. Turbo and Phoebe had a fan club of boy scouts waiting for them after the parade.

Lots of pics of this years sorgum parade.

There had to be close to 100 horses in it this year. There was one other paso, a cute little gray fellow that was pretty darn excited. His owner, Donna was very nice.

They shot a cannon off as the horses were round the square. Turbo and Phoebe were fine, but other people's horses FREAKED!

I actually recognized one of my friends! The man on the Paint with the handlebar mustache.....
I bet that grey Paso is the one I saw video of from our Sesquicentennial Parade in Hiawassee. Very nice looking horse.

Darn, those pics in the slideshow are too fast for me to see much detail. I wish there was a way of slowing it down some. The one you posted is really nice, Mel. :D

I love parades, but I never dress that fancy! You look great!

Parades are very slow..... it seems like you have to stop and wait for awhile (if you can get your horse to stop) just so you can show off the corto. Other than that, we end up just walking along like the QHs (or side-passing/circling for something interesting to do  )
