Have a nice trailride yesterday, close to home on the BLM land which can only be bow-hunted, so it's very quiet. The temp was perfect - 70s and sunny. We had a nice little group of 7 with a variety of horses!

Into the woods we go!

Marvin with his Percheron filly, July. She is awesome!

We caught a few nice views through the trees:

Back out to the prairie (cute POA on the right):

Of course, Marvin had to show off July's training (he's training her)
This in an old horse jump that the soldiers used in the 1800s
She just walked over it:

Deb, why does the draft horse have a work bridle on? Just curious.

Get ready for rain Debbie...our sunshine went away and it's rained ever since. Finally a break this afternoon, but it's supposed to start again. (no way could I live on the coast). Fresh snow on the mountains again.

I need to get some life size prints made of some of your pics Debbie, and hang them in the arena when I ride. At least I could dream...lol

Great pics!

Deb, why does the draft horse have a work bridle on? Just curious.

Marvin said he happened to have it, and started using it when he started riding her because he couldn't find anything big enough.... he's just been riding her for less thatn 2 months (got her as an 8-month-old and she turned 2 in July. One of the ladies was telling him about places to get large tack. His other 2 horses are arabs so this is all new to him.

Linda - yes grulla paint. He is a beauty!

Carol - it's raining here today. Started out sunny and 70, then started raining by 3pm :(

Adam, I think we've all seen enough pics of me. I don't give up my camera easily ;-)

Gosh, that isn't anything like riding here in Florida....your pics are always amazing!

We went on a trail ride too on Sunday, haven't gotten the pics yet, but they are nothing compared to yours!

Bonnie, I'd love to see your pics. That's what great about this bb - we're all from different parts of the country (world, actually). It makes it fun to 'visit' places we may never go through pictures that we all share :D
