It's always nice to see him play. Rosie and Zar are much sterner with him then Bella was...which is GOOD, he needed to be brought down a few notches. But, he's still very much himself.
BTW - so far training is easy with him...he's eager and learns fast...it's all a game still. Now, if he'd JUST quit biting and kicking. He is nothing like Rosie was...one spank for a kick and she never tried it again..and never bit. He considers getting smacked part of the 'game' and comes back for more. He is better about kicking...but that is because we've been very consistent with the 'hide your hinney' lessons. He just LOVES being naughty though! LOL
Debbie, if you seriously can't get enough pictures...I think I have half my hard drive full now. LOL

Okay Vicki, I measured him while he ate...the measuring tape, me, my jacket, the hay cart, my shoe laces...etc. He's SOOOO much help.
He's 12.1 hh and 468 lbs on the weight tape. He turned 5 months old on the 9th. He'll have his third hoof trim tomorrow...can't wait..NOT!

Joy and Erin, thank you for your comments about Rosie. I have to admit that Rosie has really turned into a little beauty...very feminine and petitie, even with nice bone and good legs. You can appreciate them in her lion pose. I'm really enjoying training her...she's a good example of what imprinting and early handling will achieve...she almost trains herself. Very easy.
When I put the box on her the other day, she didn't even flinch about it...and I had never put a box on her before. She's just good and trusting.

Just a note for anyone with a colt like Bruiser, we trimmed his feet today and had no trouble at all BECAUSE I kept his front end occupied with LOTS of things to chew on and in get in trouble with. As long as he was doing 'something bad' he was perfectly happy to stand for his trimming.

Aw, what a 'good' boy! ;-)
I remember a colt that I had quite a few years ago. He was such a baby, the first time he had his feet trimmed, he just hid his face in the crook of my arm for an hour while I petted him and told him he was NOT going to die!
Thank you, Carol, I had missed these while at the state fair. I needed a Bruiser update. :D
