I got a thank you email from a woman today......just not the woman who wanted me to trailer her horse for her.

Remember my friend who was going to buy the TB who kept tossing her to the wind? She found a nice calm 8 year old arab mix that goes well on the trails and in the ring.

Ssssh, don't tell her I posted this pic. I didn't ask her if I could. This will just be our little secret. But doesn't he look beautiful? She did the whole vet check route and he came highly recommended by the poeple at the barn who knew him. She rode him out alone this week on the trails. His temperment is very calm, but he's a good enough mover that she could show him at the basic dressage like she wants to. I'm so happy for her!

She wrote a long letter of thank you to me about how I stopped her from making a mistake that she can see clearly now because her emotions were wrapped up in it. She loves that crazy TB, but this is a horse she can enjoy without fearing for her life....lol

Sometimes being opinionated is a good thing. It's one of the things I value about the people on this board. I know if I ask a question I'll hear what you really think.

Good for you Ruth!!! You probably saved that lady's life.
She loves that crazy TB
It is amazing how many people are reluctant to leave the abuser.
That is one nice looking horse!, she will probably be completely in love with him by the end of the weekend and not stop talking about what a perfect horse she now has.
To bad she didn't want a nice qrt horse that I happen to have hanging around here. ;-)

Oh that is so cool!!! BEAUTIFUL horse. The best part though is finding out that she values your friendship so much, that is really special.

Yes, good job, Ruthie...and you probably DID save her life. It pays to stick to your guns and open your mouth! Look how happy she is now, and what a beautiful picture!
As far as ms. trailer lady...heck with her, you don't need her! ;-)

(I would be interested in hearing if she ever does contact you again... 8-) )

Oh I LOVE her new horse. And tell her she can still take carrots to the thoroughbred. You don't have to ride a horse or own it to still enjoy it!!! You're a GOOD friend!!
