I'm so thrilled! Jennifer is training Captain to be a trail and endurance horse.... Looks like he is off to a great start!

Tami,
Captain is doing great, the 3 pictures are of him with
a saddle covers on him like a saddle, him standing on
a stump, and on my bridge. The stump we walk up to it
and I tell him to step up and he does.

Great! Looks like she is going to have one heck of a nice, sensible and BEAUTIFUL horse on her hands!

Soooo, what is going on with Pizzaro? Is he still hanging out at your place Tami?

Lexi - Pizza is still here and if I have my way - he will stay for a very long time. Every day I look at him, he reminds me of his father and that is one horse that will never leave! It will take some real talking for me to part with this guy! Maybe next year there will be another one like him that I will share! After doing my stallion breeding reports, looks like there will be 16 new faces (if I counted right!).

If you have one like him next year in the female version let me know. ;-)

Jennifer is one of those people who should train EVERYONE'S Baby!!! That is great! I also think she is one who would have a riot with an In-Hand Trail Class in her regional show.

What a young horse gets by all this early interaction can't be duplicated. Foals learn fast, have great curiosity, and when do this early, you build on that curiosity and build trust from it.

Great job Jennifer!!!
