Utah has always been one of my favorite states...a close second behind New Mexico (yes, even comes before Texas in the scenery department). Only reason I don't live there is it gets too cold...but there is always a haunting beckoning in my soul for the wide open, stark, glorious landscapes! Beautiful, Helene....thank you for posting...Carol U, lucky you for living there!

Beautiful pictures Helene.

I have to agree that Utah is probably the prettiest state in the country...not only the stark beauty of southern Utah's redrock country - which is unique anywhere in the world - but the alpine meadows, farmed valleys, and rocky mountains. It's an incredible place. Mother Nature really got carried away here.

This time of year, I'd REALLY LOVE to move to the southern part of the state for sure! LOL

OOPs...I just learned something. If I erase the pictures in photobucket, they disappear on the BB. Sorry, I just uploaded them again....

Wowser....wouldn't that last photo..the one with thte flat rock over-looking the valley make a great background for a magnificient Paso Fino...just standing on the rocks..looking into the far valley?
