I'm not sure if that's where she got the name for the farm...but every year, she's got at LEAST one with the greatest blaze! :lol:

Yeah, but you're gonna have to come down here, and teach me how to do it! I got that one w/three up on pasopedigree, with another of Constancia's body....the first two are 7/8 Colombian, and Constancia is 11/16 Puerto Rican...but they have the same phenotype....I like to put a good big motor in the rear!
And yes, Carol, Independencia was born the 4th of July, and I had several names....like, Bandera(flag, she's got the red & white), Patriota....but no, she IS very independent with ALOT of brio....any excuse to do rollbacks, slidestops, spins....hot potato!

Yes, when I first started, I was still teaching and single, and rented a farm with 2 roomates, we all had at least one horse with a blazes....hence the name....my first Paso was a pure PR colt with a full blaze, and Fav of course, had a star, connected stripe and disconnected snip on nose(the kissing spot)....and so, I seem to get some fancy face markings for the past 30 years!
Independencia's mom is half Col/half PR....maternal grandma was chestnut w/full white blaze, paternal grandma a palomino w/full white blaze..both parents are brown....goes to show, those ancestors still put their 2 cents in.......!!!
