Wohoooooooooo!
I passed sections A, B and D of the Landscape Architecture Registration Exam. This exam is VERY tough and most people have to take sections multiple times before they pass. I passed these the first time! Now, all I have left are sections C and E. They are the most difficult and average a 40% pass rate. They will be coming up in Dec.
Passing the other sections has given me a boost of confidence so I am hoping that I will kick butt in Dec and become a Registered Landscape Architect!
Just had to share!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
No doubt you'll do great in December.
Now that you are registered what is next? Do you have to apprentice with anyone or are you good to go on your own?

I had to work under a registered LA for a year and a half before I could sit for the exam. Once I have passed all of my sections and given thousands of dollars to the state I will be able to fly solo and officially call myself a Landscape Architect. I can start making the big bucks then. ;-)

Congrats Mel! If you pass, will you have to wear a rookie stripe on your posterior for a year?

No, but I will get to remove the G=D/L and the Q=CIA tattoos as a rite of passage.
Once you are a real Landscape Architect, you don't need tattoos to remind you of the important formulas come test time.
