I do enjoy reading some good fantasy - LE Modesitt Jr is my fav Fantasy/Sci-Fi author.

robert jordan is my fav, altho i enjoy modesitt, jr's alot as well. currently the only one's i've read and have one or two in the series left to read is the saga of recluce (the order war was and is my fav.. justen the grey is my fav char, well, him and dayala)

The Corean Chronicles are really good too. I don't care as much for the spellsong books. The sci-fi stuff is good. When I read his books, I always end up wanting some dark bread and cheese. His descriptions of mealtimes are wonderful. I wish I knew what burkha would be comparable to.

Justen is pretty cool - He is one of my favorites but I think my favorite would have to be Lorn.

I like Robert Jordan too. I don't like the way that the WOT time is dragging out. I started reading Modesitt while waiting for the next WOT installment.

i've heard of utopia. but alas, monica isn't on that board lol
