Debbie, I think you have a strong enough sense of humor for this. If not, and I have offended...

I voted that she is taller than she is wider.
If you layed her down, she would be much shorter, so that is why I feel she is taller.
Heidi

ps, I think she is adorable!

I think she is a TAD taller that wider. I can fit a larger saddle on that nice flat back, though ;-) No paso saddle for her!

I'm not offended - if you asked that about me, then yes I would be a little offended. She was the fattest of all the horses (DUH!) at the sale. She is just an EASY keeper - and needs to be ridden.

Her neck is so big! I was a little concerned about founder, he says she's always had a thick neck. My small pasture - where the newbies are - hardly has any grass left in it. I'm giving them a little grass hay too.

Poor little fatty

And all you, we are definately talking about Debbie's horse and not Debbie! She's as skinny as a rail!

Shelley, you should post before/after pictures of Star. I think that is a tribute to good horse management!

There we go...a GOOD example of what TOUGH LOVE can do!!! Kudos to Shelley for MOST POUNDS LOST (like Weight Watchers!!)...now, lets see if Debbie can beat Shelley's 300 lb mark! LOL

Get out the weight tape!

Right now, everyone has equal grazing time. My herd boss, Blue, is the fattest (yes, fatter than Princessa). He eats all his food, then everyone else's in winter. So, maybe I should put her and Blue together this winter (unless, of course she takes over as herd boss, then I'm in trouble). Skinny little Chex can go with my old guy who needs all the feed he can get, and Listo, who never gains an ounce no matter what (but looks good).

Is this a challenge? If so, I'll probably lose because Blue has been fat since the day I got him. He might lose 20 pounds in the summer from trailriding but it comes back in the winter.
