Laura, you need to move your picture to the new contest. This is the winter contest and the winners are picked already.

I know it's confusing. Look at the dates Lori posted the catagories. There is a horse portrait catagory for the Jan/Feb issue. This catagory was Nov 9th. The one you want is dated January 11, 2007.

(you know, he looks a LOT like Diablo...put him here and he'd blend right in! LOL)

Well, I suppose this shouldn't even be here. Its from last winter, and the two photos are actually a video capture. The thermometer was @ -40 degrees (yep, I have a picture of that too!) One of our paso mares got caught in a snowdrift behind the corral away from the others, and panicked. Thats hubby standing on top of whats left of the fence getting ready to help her out...she finally realized she could do it herself...she gave a mighty rear like a Lippizaner and fought her way out of the thing.
Anyway, just thought I'd throw them in here.
