Hello, My name is Dolores Field but everyone calls me Blinky. I am a newbie to the APF. I have owned a paso for 2 years and have two geldings. My sister finally talked me into selling my crazy apendix mare for a wonderful buckskin paso fino gelding. This looks like a fun place to talk to other paso fino friends, because I am driving my husband crazy always talking about pasos.

Blinky??? how'd you get that name? or is it not safe to disclose that info.
You hubby should know there is a secret support group for hubby's on the board. It is where we hypnotize them with words such as "yes, dear, we DO need another Paso!"
Well, welcome to the board, you will be required to post pics of your ponies and tell us funny stories about them.
Do you show, trail ride, or just "horse around" . I personally am a back yard "hack" that loves her trail nags.
Do you have kids? do they ride? (always a good excuse for another horse).

Hello Terri, I got the name Blinky when 12 or so had a nervous blinking habit. The name just sort of stuck. Question, How do you post a picture on here? I would love to share, but am a little computer goofy. I like to trail ride. I did talk my husband into buying a paso! We want to trail ride to places hard to get to by car.

It took me forever to figure out how to post a picture...So good luck....(only kidding)

You have to go to a photohosting site like Photobucket.com Follow the directions there for creating an account (it is free) and uploading pictures. Once a picture is uploaded you can resize it if necessary. But if you look under your picture there will be a box with an IMG address in it. Just highlight the address and copy. Then paste it in your post. You picture will appear when you post your message.

you can do the same at certain smiley sites too.

So now we want pics!!!

welcome....

where are you located?

Hello Erin C, I am located in Urbanna, Virginia. That is on the middle peninsula of Virginia, near the Rappahannock River and just about 35 miles east of Williamsburg, VA. There are a few paso folks in the area. My sister Alice G. of this site has 4. Thanks for asking. I will try to do something with pictures this week.

Hi Delores! Glad to have you join us! Sounds like you already have the paso fever, and know some of the paso folks in your area. We hope you will find some new friends that are close that you can trail ride with.

You can also download your avatar the same way as the pictures, or you can download directly from your computer, but you have to resize them in your photo program to fix the specs to match the requirements for our avatar (Avatar is the small picture under your name.) If you need additional help, give a holler, and we'll try to guide you through. Some of these folks are pretty good computer operators!
