Miguel de Ropa is now being offered for a reduced price. This is a beautiful show quality gelding. But he MUST go to a good home.
Pictured second from top on ad above.
Check out our other horses for sale! Some not pictured on website.
Bad Girl, Carol, Bad . . . . .

Yes, he is, Dana....and sweet as they come. But he has been passed around too much, and his owner is concerned that he goes to the very best of homes where he is loved. She is 75 years old and is probably done riding due to being thrown from a horse that was not her own.
What this woman has done with this horse is amazing.

A reminder - Miguel is beautiful but he's NOT a big boy so if you want big, don't consider him. He's not tiny but he's not one of the larger paso finos. Carol you might have him sticked and post his height. I'd love to have him if we weren't horsed out right now. I totally love him!!

Yes, that is correct, he is not very big...he measures probably about 13.1 or 13.2 and is pretty fine boned.
Unfortunately I live about two hours from the owner so I can't just run up and stick him...but I think that would be a fair assumption of his height.
However, I have video of a local Paso Fino trainer who is 5'11'' riding him and she does not look odd on him...she is thin, though...weighs about 140 at the most maybe, if even.
You would not want to put a very heavy rider on this horse.

Our 13 2's weigh about 750 on endurance ride scales. At 25% that's about 190 including all tack. If he's not flexy that would be his max. If he's flexy and has some sink it would be lower. Luckily there are some really light but comfortable and secure saddles available now. He may be larger and weigh more than that though but just be so well proportioned he looks small. Gotta have that stick!!

I sticked him when I had him and I believe he was 13.2. But he is tough as nails, and when you ride you feel like you are on a MUCH larger horse. He is very upright, and keeps himself well under you. He would be a wonderful horse for someone who had a lot of time to spend with him. He loves to bond with his person and he is very sweet. Best manners you have ever seen.

He is soooooo gorgeous!! Looks like a prince!
One of our 13 2's is like that. She looks much larger because of the headset and long neck. Our 6 footers do ride both our 13 2's by the way and don't look funny. Our 13 3 though looks too small for them. I think because of her slender barrel and shorter neck??? Weird.

Thanks, Linda!
I do have video of him being lunged, ridden, tacked up, loading into a trailer, and running free at liberty, etc., for anyone who is truly interested. Serious inquiries only.
At the end of the video, it shows Miguel being "blown" clean...with an air hose, instead of a brush. I said I don't believe there is a single horse on MY place that would let me blow them clean with an airhose! ;-)
