I finally tracked down the sister ( who's last name was Smith! ) who I actually paid to purchase Infierno. Her brother Mark was the one I always talked to and I just met her when I picked up Infierno and she signed the papers over to me. She didn't have a contact number or address listed with PFHA. I work for the phone company ... just try tracking down a woman with the last name of Smith when you don't know her husband's name. Mark was able to dig up some pictures and I have the police report number now, so I will be updating all the info with Netposse very soon. I'm heading to a horse auction about 4 hours away this Friday. The police are going to meet me there since I have a good lead that he might have been sold there. The auction barn keeps putting me off and won't give me any information.
I remember someone said that all horses that are from Ideal Farms are branded. This is " NOT " true. Also for those who thought the PFHA picture should have been used .... he was born BLACK! Do you think anyway would've been looking for a dapple gray when a picture of a black horse was on the flyers? I was desperate at the time and time was of the essence, so several kind people tried to help with a picture when I had no access to a computer and had very little communication out from my farm.
I appreciate all the kindness from so many that have been helping me search for Infierno and all the words of encouragement. For those who have been so negative ... I appreciate you to for bringing attention even if it was bad to The Stolen Dapple Gray Stallion Named Infierno Ideal....mabe he will be easy to remember any time you see a horse that could just be him, and I sincerally hope you never have a horse and a piece of your heart stolen as I have.
