Color question

Buckskin Stallion x grey mare

The foal has recieved the creme and agouti gene from his sire and the grey gene from his mother. What color would you call this.

Without a photo to determine the foal's base color, its registered color will be GRAY.

With the limited info you've provided (cream gene and agouti from sire, gray from dam) I would say the foal is probably buckskin going gray. If the foal got an E for agouti to work on, that is black base, agouti makes bay and cream makes buckskin.

I'd call it a greying black buckskin...but need to see a pic.

Register as gray but have them note the base color of buckskin on the papers.
