I have a deposit on Star...she went to one of "our own" for her young daughter..I will miss you Star you are a wonderful girl. She will be in her forever home or will come back to me. Star will NOT be passed around..

That is great news, but I know it is bittersweet. At least a little girl will have a great horse, and you know she can come home if she needs to.

ahhh.... I miss her already. If I didn't already have a 13.2-3 hand youth lesson Paso Fino mare, Star would of been perfect here too. That's too small for me, but if the disposition is there, those sweet girls are so easy to ride by a novice youth learning to ride!

I hope you can keep track of her and keep us posted.

She went to someone on our board...several states away..she is making plans to drive and get her now..shame she is not down south near my new llama :lol: I called Dickk and told him I was sad..he said you saved her life..she now has a kid to love..be happy...How could some little girl not love a fat black pony with a 28" mane? and a kid safe disposition?

Well tell them they have to post Star pics regularly. I'm glad they are picking her up in person.

That's all you can hope for, Shelley, that they go to a loving home...you did the best you could. I know...I've got quite a few that will leave here someday. :(

Awwww. Goodbyes are hard, but what a great life Star is heading for, to be a little girl's princess horse, all her own, and don't we know this is going to be the best Christmas ever for her! For both of them.

Yes,goodbyes are hard.I sat on the ground,held my dog and cried and cried when I had to sell my previous mare,Mariquita Del Paso Via.I'm so sorry you're sad but SO glad to know that she's going to such a wonderful loving forever home!!That girl will treasure her forsure and surely SWaite will give plenty of updates and pictures,won't you SWaite?Your friend,Moniece

I sure will post TONS of pictures and updates! We have finally found a Paso to get our daughter up and riding safely. She turns 11 in January and Star is the perfect size, well the perfect everything for her! Thank you so much Shelley.

Yippee for sue and brianna!! If you need someone to take the trip with you just let me know and I will see if I have the time off. :D

Now all you need is a good guest horse for me to steal when I bring my new man up to visit. I am gonna need to find a quieter horse for him soon. Tino is a little hot for him. :D He did good for his first lesson until Tino decided to pretend he doesn't like to lounge and had a tizzy and then layed down! I couldn't believe it. Silly boy he is.
