anyone with Dish Network satellite..

having problems the last few weeks? some channels (well I dont watch a lot) like history and abc family keep 'dropping out' for a few seconds ..or it will freeze and digitize..then come right back..and it happens a lot (like a 10-20 times an hour)The weather here couldnt be nicer, no rain etc.
Gonna call Dish when I feel like spending all that time on the phone..just wanted to see if anyone else is having a problem..

We have Direct TV HD and we are having the same problem. I'll be interested to see what you find out.....

We have cable, and it does that really bad on some channels. It was so bad tonight I couldn't watch it!
Sucks we pay so much for this modern convenience.

We had that very same problem.

Hubby got really agitated and called them on the phone threatening to cancel. Direct tv sent him a new receiver.. and gave him a month free of the movie channels for his inconvience. He has not had any problem so far with it since.

it will do that if there's a storm interfering with either uplink or down. I help with a small radio station recieving programming by satalite, and sometimes the signal drops out, or "digitizes" (gets garbled off and on) when we're not having a storm, so i check the weather at the point of origen, and sure enough, they're getting a storm. I suppose there's other things that can inturrupt signals as well.
