I borught it up at the last meeting, and my club will let me have a Paso ride on the grounds providing NEPHA has it's own insurance. They want a date, ASAP.
Anyone interested? Lisa, will NEPFHA even have its own insurance for a weekend ride like that?

Barb - I will forward the info to the BOD for approval/date - and to check on insurance requirements. I for one am FOR the ride.......
edited to add.....please either PM me the details on the facility, any costs etc or email me. I should have all that for the BOD.

I would be interested if only for a Sunday ride....I usually have to work on Sat. nights so that day is not good for me....

Insurance suggestion. Contact Granby Regional Horse Council (Granby MA, non-profit) who's insurance allows for a $1.00 charge per rider per event (parade-trailride,etc). Is the NEPFHA non-profit? As for Dianne. Don't recall number , if you want their info PM swaite.

Here's the link to my club's website. The facilities are great for horse camping. Room for 40 or more trailers, tie stalls, places for temp paddocks. Full kitchen and pavillian. Nice set up, except for the "outhouses" ;-) http://www.graftontrailriders.com/

IF I have a trailer this spring I will be interested. The TWH Otter Creek ride is June 8-11 so may not be a good date for some of us. Any other weekend is good for me.

Lisa, there will be no costs involved, I am a card carrying member. The only catch is, the ride has to be open to all club members, but I think that will be a good thing. Lot's of converts to be had in my club.
I'm assuming the club's insurance will cover any non-NEPHA members.

Make it BEFORE June. Like late April or Early May???? I should have "Chewbaca" going by then. And maybe drag a grandkid along to ride Tia if it's a paso ride. The icewalkers are too fast for the pasos, I'm afraid.

Yep...May would be good....enough time to get our legs in shape and the haybellies deflated!!
And....I THINK I will have a trailer soon!!

I think May would still be too muddy here.

BUMP!
The only weekends in June the club has available at this point is June 23 & 24, or June 30 -July 1.
Lisa, the BOD has to MOVE if they want either one of these dates.
