Yes, that was the tree...luckily we had two strong guys to help drag it back to the truck...We thought we'd get one of the horses to do it. ..but the girls decided they would rather ride...

Ok, I have to tell a funny story.
When I was a kid, we always used to also go out and find our Christmas tree on the property. (There just happned to be a little patch of them planted by the previous owner). Usually Mom and I did the tree picking, and Dad got to cut it down and drag it back.
Well one year, I think I was very sick, and Mom had to stay home to take care of me. So it was up to PasoSis and Dad. I'd say Pasosis was about 8 or so at the time.
So off they go to pick out our tree in the woods. Dad picks out a very nice tree and Sis says....lets look some more. Dad picks out another nice tree and Sis says....ummm, maybe lets look just a bit more. They come to the third tree he chooses and Sis says ok. Dad says this tree is just as nice as the other two we picked, what was wrong w/them?
She replied...Yeah, but Mom said to make you pick out at least 3 out before deciding. She said not to let you take the first one you came to.

Forgot to give ya'll the names of the Christmas tree hunters...from left to right...Steph on Guillermo El Conquistador (Billy..PPR), Jess on Exodus de Estaban (Dusty) and Allie on Macadoo Tornado (Torey)...They all really behaved and certainly enjoyed tramping around the farm and thru the woods...I hope to have pictures of the decorated tree in the next few days...
