I'm having some people over for a chocolate house making party. I'd like to serve some holiday drinks. Coffee with holiday spirits? Cocoa with a splash of something. Anyone have any good recipes for holiday season drinks?

Bailey's Irish Creme in the coffee (I prefer mine without the coffee!). They make it with a mint falvor now too. Sounds like fun!

Jodi,
I don't do things constantly.....just seasonally. With a family my size most holidays do not happen at my house so I don't have the stress of that. I try to pick times early enough before the main holiday that people aren't crazy busy yet, but still near enough that it helps set the mood for the upcoming holiday.
My chocolate house party is my Christmas season party and mostly for adults and teens. I have an egg painting party in the spring before Easter for all of the kids. If you've seen our family photos you know there are a lot of little ones in my family. It's a real hoot to set up an area and let them all decorate like mad. The tough part is finding a day in the spring when I can do it outside since it's so messy.
I've done big egg hunts. I put candy, small prizes and money in some of the eggs (one $20, a few $10s and some smaller bills) and then even the teenagers go crazy about finding their share of the eggs. We usually do a per child count so even the littlest ones have a fair shot at it.
Then a Halloween carving party...which this year included hay rides since we got the new house.
All in all, it's not that much. It just seems that way since I take a million pictures of everything
But back to the drinks....ok, I'm going with hot chocolate with peperment schnapps. Do we want eggnog and brandy?

1 quart vanilla ice cream
1 lb butter
1 lb brown sugar
1 lb powdered sugar
1 Tblsp vannilla
Soften ice cream and butter, mix all ingredients togeather, Freeze until needed. Use one large spoonful to cup of hot water add booze.
Good with Rum, Wiskey, Brandy. For children it can be served without the booze. Everybody loves this stuff and it will keep in the freezer forever.

Why would anyone want to ruin good booze by mixing it with other things?
Yuk
