I don't think it is about the pattern on the horse Linda posted.
The Manchado is much more appaloosa-like.

The horse Linda posted looks sabino...he has at least 5 sabino type markers, chin spot, blaze face, flank ticking/white, belly white front & rear and peaked rear stockings.... even the way the white comes (raggedy) across his shoulder wopuld indicate sabino....
