Just got back

I am worn out.

I figured out why no-one would answer my question about other horse groups. The Athens Clarke County Employees are the only group of people with horses that are allowed.

I was great. I wasn't going to ride because the forecast was rainy. A little divine intervention changed that plan and I ended up going at the last minute. I didn't have any time to fix my hair or any accessories so we weren't too fancy. Sunday's parade will be better.

Phoebe was so overwhelmed with "joy" at spending an evening out! She was a little disgruntled at being pulled out of the pasture late in the afternoon. She behaved herself quite well and let kids along the parade route pet her. I could tell that she was wondering why on earth I had put her in one of the crazy noisy things at night.

I am sure that when I turned her back out last night she told the others all about how crazy I am. Oh, the horror of having to be ridden at night. ;-)

What a beautiful dress Mel! It is perfect for holiday parades. The look on Phoebe's face reminds me of Marisa (our filly) when she is ticked off at me. What a diva!

Wow, Mel, that dress is amazing! Do you have any other pics of it? I can barely sew a button on my underwear, so I am just awed by what you can do. I agree, Tater looks less than pleased in the picture. Maybe for your next Christmas parade, she can go as the Grinch. 8-)
