Two year old Peruvian Paso filly. This is her 4th show, 1 1/2 months under saddle. In the first pic, she was vearing away from the bouncing children on the rail, so excuse the awkwardness.

Tell me what you think. :D

I think she looks like she needs to grow a little more. She does seem gentle and sweet, I love the Peruvians. My Peruvian mare was the sweetest horse I'd ever known...

She looks very nice, very feminine, definately a mare. I agree with Lori, you look very nice on her. Good job.

I think she's sweet...she has a lot of growing to do yet. Can I ask a silly question, why did you start her so young? I don't mean to be rude, I just don't understand, and wish to know.

Shes not my horse, shes owned by a guy, who I show his horses. Shes not actually as small as she looks, shes 14.2hh, im just tall :D. I start most of my horses as 2 yr olds, unless their just "not ready". But she was ready, and I dont ride her hard or for too long, to be gentile on her since she is still growing. Ususally, maybe 15-20 minutes walk and gait, flat land, once to twice a week, then maybe two classes at each show. You'd think she was an "old pro" if you rode her. She is soooo smart and learns soooo fast! gaits like crazy! Very very soft mouth, you really dont need any reins with her. say woh and she stops.

Hi, I used to have Peruvians, too, so my guess is if she's already 14.2
she'll mature pretty good sized. She sure is pretty, has nice chest and bone for her age, but I'm glad you are going easy on her. I do know a lot of breeders wait until they are 3-4 to start under saddle. You do look good together!
