Couldja, wouldja post a photo of Apple Valley Dorecha for me? As many as you have...and didn't she have a foal by Talon? Got any photos of the foal? Doing some research on Dorecha's lines...and would greatly appreciate the photos. Not to mention the fact that I always thought she was a gorgeous mare! :D

Oh athena isnt as mad as she looks lol. I see so much of her father and mother in her that i cant say who she will be like. I will tell you what i think this summer. What i do know is athena was the smallest baby i have see and yet she is only a few inches shorter then her 3/4 sister who is a year older.

I have seen this mare in person, Kerry, being ridden, and she is DRAMATIC!!! Beautiful!!

Gorgeous!!! Since we have a close relative of Talon (Magnifico de Besilu) we are of course prejudiced but mom is gorgeous also as is Athena.

One note - first foals are very frequently much smaller but usually by age one they are just as large as their later siblings will be, so there is no truth is the myth that first foals are smaller and inferior adults compared to those born to the same mare later. (a thoroughbred study proved this since first foals are frequently throw aways in the thoroughbred breeding world) In our case Pistachio was extremely small but was very nearly as large as Brilliant by nine months old. Brilliant was Brandy's first but she is a much more "elastic" type horse and had a huge first foal whereas Chinook is much tighter in her suspensories and ligaments and didn't even look that huge so had a much small foal who just grew faster!

Thanks Adam! I'll pm ya for info about Dori. She's a great mare, and Athena appears to have gotten the best from both sire and dam. She's a lovely filly! :D

In the 1980 national show alone his get and grand get won over 20 grand national, national, and res national championships.

Yoconda, She could be the best paso fino mare of all times. She never showed, she was the first mare to win produce of dam. She produced 7 consecutive pfoba nat champions. Her bloodline won so much and were very well know.Don cunda, and do you remember Illuminares another of Athenas family.
