I am new to the forum and hoped you could help me I am looking for a specific type stallion to breed to or possibly buy. I am looking for something like AJ posted a picture of a few posts down. The arched and completely rounded croup with the low set tail punched in below the dock The heavy neck and a convex facial profile. I have a few mares that have som,e of these traits and am looking for something to breed them to. If I knew how I would post a picture of a colt with most of these traits. If anyone has something like this or can give information on where to find it it would be greatly appreciated

Have you considered making a trip to fla? :D I bet we could give you an eye full. I saw several very nice TyG horses at the Miami Horse Country Caballgata this weekend. Made me want one really bad.

I thinkn it is pretty standard in the Trote Galope horses. Most of the ones I have seen look just like that. Do you have any specific bloodlines in mind?

Let me see what I can come up with.

Are these Trocha, Trote mares or Paso Fino mares you plan to breed?

Are you wanting Trochadores or Trote Galope?

They are Spanish Barb mares We had a large cattle operation and now have about 100 head quarter horse ranch I used the Spanish Barb horses to work cattle with I like the old Spanish look of these mares and want to keep it going My grandfather as early as 1886 had horses of this type. Some of my mares gait a 4 beat gait I am no gait expert for sure but they are really smooth to ride and extremely tough and can easily do 30 miles a day day after day I have a nice stallion but am looking for something to breed his daughters.
