He's beautiful. There's nothing prettier and eye catching than a grulla. What a shame he's so short.
Does it look to anyone else like his front leg is stitched up? Just a bad photo?

I think you are seeing primitive markings on his upper forearm.

No, this is def the same horse...He has already been sold since that ad and is back on the market...A friend of mine has him now. That is just a really weird photo. And no his leg is not stitched up. He is in great health and the girl who owns him has a great portfolio on him.

The lady needed to get rid of him since she lived in Alpharetta and the horse was boarded in Monroe. For those who don't know it is about an hour to an hour and a half (depending on traffic) from Alpharetta to Monroe. So my friend bought him determined to find him a good home. She just has too many and needs to downsize so he is one of the ones up for sale. There is no telling how old the photo on the other website is b/c my friend has had him now for about 3 months. He is actually a mousy color. Very unusual but I can promise that this is the same little man.

My Michico change color through the year in the same way. He looks like a buckskin in the summer and is darker than that horse in the winter. Some Grulla are quite dramatic. ;-)
