Does anyone know who the lady was that won the Largo race at the Nationals?
I was told she was riding a mare. Does anyone know who the mare was or what she was out of?

Do a search of this forum for Largo Race. When the threads come up click on the ones dated as of, or after this years Largo Race. I believe you will find what you are looking for.

There is mention of them in the Nats article in Showtime....but my copy is down stairs in the car...I'll look tomorrow.

Candy Hurd on Messalina's Satellite, according to Robin's message in the current PFHW.

If that is correct, Lynn Gallup owns her dam. ;-)

My mare Caballos Cassietta is by Galnate LaCe out of Messalina. She has a full sister who was #4 Top Ten dam in 2005. Messalina was a NC Fino Mare and also placed in Grand Performance Championship back in '80's. Cassie has been a virtual broodmare her whole life, and has many offspring I don't know what they are up to.

I see Satelite is registered as "buckskin" that is most likely a dun, since Cassie is a grulla with all the primitive markings.

So maybe Satellite's 2006 sister Marietta de Gracia has largo in her future.
