TJ Finally Here

I would have posted sooner but many things came up today. They got in around 11 am and we went to lunch, had to show the house, then go to the feed store and I had a bit of a lesson with TJ. He was great with the guys but steamrolled me. He is much better now.

The guys drive 27 hrs round trip. They made it to Shasta Monday night and spent the night, then to Ken's place in Lebanon, Oregon Tuesday mid afternoon then drove straight back her etaking turns driving and sleeping.

Ken has 50 acres up in lush Oregon. Wow was it green in the pictures!

You can tell when he is at our place, look for desert landscaping no grass LOL

He had tons of green grass and it was pretty cool there but no snow or anything yet.

It's been in the 20's here at night and it finally heated up to 63 here in the day. I was not liking the 30 degrees in the daytime here. YUCK!

Yes he is VERY muddy dirty and now dusty. Really wish we had the washrack up. Argh.

If anyone is every up in his area, it's a really nice place.

He also had the dam and sire of TJ there. I'll round up the pics in a bit.

Now this makes sense - on the other posting when you posted his lines I was thinking that it really sounded like one of Ken's but didn't realize you guys were going all of the way to Oregon! I am always tempted by Ken's horses but I am on the East Coast and it is sooooooooooo far away!!!!!! He is a nice looking boy and will soon learn that females MUST be respected!!!

After Troy got home he said "Never Again" for the driving LOL He said he would much rather pay to ship. We have taken long trips before Arizona/Mexico border but this one was a bit longer.

I am just glad it all went smoothly. I can't wait to see him in the Spring minus the winter woolies.

He is already better about not running me over. He bonded pretty well to the boys so I think I lost out on this one. My stepdad REALLY likes him to the point my mom said No there is no room in their backyard yet until they move up here next year LOL
